i find the mineshaft to be in the top 4 bars in long beach! shaft night [tuesdays] brings in out of city patrons a must go! cheap bottled beer and a nice mixed crowd! daytimes are a trip they have a bartender [manny] who will send you out with a smile!,if he insults you consider it a compliment! with him if you are a out of towner you will always remember him! they have a d.j. on the best nights. 5 stars

Long Beachs' version of Leather Bar

Not a bad place, drinks are good, dimly lit, pool table, sound system could use an updating. Another of the string of bars we frequent after Long Beach Gay pride. As far as it being a "Leather" Bar, it doesn't seem to come close, well at least when we've been inside.
