Bad service
while I was checking out the place on a Saturday night -which was slow and an ugly crowd- I was told by a bartender that if I didn't get something to drink within the five minutes I would have to leave which I did. Don't bother unless you want to boredom and attitude.
Ok Place to hang out
Just be careful as the COPS Love to hang out around the bar to catch drivers who have had some drinks:( I know!!!
Thank God there is a bar for every type
The first time visiting this bar with a friend who lives in the area was on a Tuesday night. That would be Bingo night. Have to say kudos to the bar for providing free food this night and apparently every event if you go by what it says on their web page. This place came across as a bar for those that don't fit in at your "typical" Gay bar. The front part has a more party atmosphere for drinking and and back area where outside patio is was more earthy. I came away feeling thankful that this bar was there to serve a different crowd.
Way fun happy hour
Has been a while since I stopped by The Crest.. went yesteday and had a really good time. Drink special 2.50 for my beers and well drinks too. We had a lot of fun with jukebox nice patio friendly people. I will be back.....
Willie bartender fixture for long beach
the, crest is in north long beach, been around for years! target group levi, leather but you get a wide variety of people. if you have not been to long beach for a while and you are trying to track down one of long bech's favorite bartender's he is now at the crest,a 15 to 20 minute drive north of downtown, north long beach is a totally different scene than downtown/eastside L.B. i recommend the crest a very wel managed destination! nice happy hour.
